Customer called us out for an irrigation inspection. We found a broken pipe and had to also replace the head in the area. There is an area we need to add one head, pipe and tap into the pipe. Additionally, there is 1 broken head and a broken drip into a âTâ and 90. All repairs were repaired and checked. No additional repairs at this time.
Emergency shutoff, master valve was left manually open and on the left side of the house there is either a broken valve or broken mainline. The DCA handles are completely rusted through and not moveable, no isolation valve. Closed master valve, no more leak. Advised the customer to call our office to be put on the schedule to come back and make repairs. Estimate emailed to customer to make repairs and replace the backflow.
There is a new structure that was built behind the garage and to the left of the house. Water flows through this area and is building up along the foundation in the front of the unit. It has not entered the unit, but it gets close. After the rain event the water will also pool and saturate the ground. It will overflow the walkway as well. We will be installing a surface drainage system to collect this water and have it removed quickly. The surface drainage system will consist of having catch basins installed on both sides of the walkway. These will be spaced out and installed slightly below existing grade. We will then complete some mild grading around each of the basins so that we can help direct water into the catch basins for faster collection. Each of the catch basins will be tied into the trunk line of the drainage system. The main trunk line will be a 6" S&D solid PVC drainage pipe. It will be installed at a 1% slope which will max out a flow rate of about 375 gpm when unobstruc
